My Version of Psalm 23
You are my Shepherd, You will always care for me,
Laying me down in green meadows, near soothing waters,
Refreshing and restoring my soul, leading me in the right way.
If I plunge into darkness, I will not fear for You are with me,
Protecting, correcting, guiding and encouraging.
You will honor me before my enemies, anointing my face with oil,
And I will feel the joy and delight of Your Presence.
Your love and mercy will chase after me every day, every moment,
And I will always dwell near You, in this life and in the next,
My heart given to you forever and ever and ever.
The National Day of Prayer where we in Laguna joined 40,000 other gatherings around the country to pray for our city and nation.
Prayer Needs This Week…
- For those in a difficult work environment; that they would shine the light of Christ
- Restored relationships between parents and children
- Sally Eimer – pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy; health, safety, connections
- Johnson Asare in Ghana – that his vision of an Inter-Cultural Formation Institute would come to pass
- Thailand ministry – communication, fruitfulness
- Surgery recovery – Toni Smith (thyroid); Rhona (aneurysm), and in difficulty, muscles and nerves seizing up, extreme pain in even smallest movement
- Protection for our kids from substance abuse, pornography, suicide, unhealthy tech stuff
I wouldn’t mind being overcome in the Spirit some Sunday. How about you?
