Becoming like Christ for the sake of others

When You Are Losing Hope 2/14/17

How God Meets Us In Crisis: I recently purchased “The Praying Wife” book which was recommended because I was losing all hope of being able to keep our house of 17 years. The mortgage company that took over our loan 13 months ago said we couldn’t afford it, though we disagreed. They started foreclosing on our house and we were losing hope. So I turned to God and this book and prayed a lot every day. It changed my life. I had blamed my husband for our financial woes and it caused a lot of fights. After reading this book and praying a lot, the stress of everything was lifted from my shoulders. I felt God was telling me to leave it all in his hands and what will be will be. So I did that and was so happy and I began to work with my husband to save our house. I showed him a ton of love and support. We wrote an “appeal” letter. This week we got a call from the mortgage company saying they were wrong and would work with us to keep our house. My husband and I cried. God is amazing, and praying does work!  (an anonymous message to our prayer ministry, one of the best we’ve ever received)  ** My note – don’t ever give up when life is hard. Pray, show love, and put your trust fully in God.
