Becoming like Christ for the sake of others

A note from your pastor: Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Hello my friends!

I want to say how excited I was to see so many of you join us on Sunday morning for our online service. And what a gift to have many of our extended church family join us from places like Oregon and Washington and even as far as the UK. Our hopes are to continue to do church in this manner. Of course, things are continually changing. Just know that we are going to do everything we can to not just stay connected, but to explore new ways of doing church in these unique times.

One of our goals is to provide a time of ministry each evening. Jay will provide a Monday evening prayer service online, as well as a daily prayer update via email. Rickie will do a youth service on Tuesday evenings. She did one last night and it was so good! I’ll continue to do Deeper Walk Wednesday nights at 7 PM on Facebook Live, starting tonight. Chris is going to do a worship set on Thursdays. And Toby will do a children’s ministry time on Fridays.

Our hope is that everyone will find at least one of those that works best. But honestly, I imagine that each night will provide something unique and valuable. Many of the positive comments we had on Sunday morning were from adults that so appreciated Toby’s Sunday school story!

So, have patience with us as we adjust to new technology. But please join us. All the sessions will be recorded and be uploaded to our church website to view at your convenience if you can’t join us live. That will serve as the primary point of connection for updates and daily prayer offerings.

During this time, let’s stay close. We love you guys. Please let us know if you need anything!

Peace,
Pastor Jeff
