Nothing is More Important: When life is over, your life and mine will be measured by one overriding quality – love. Whether we loved or we didn’t love. We can perform thousands of good deeds in life but without real love there is no profit to anything we do. In other words, love is everything. So this is a question I must continually ask myself – is my life defined by love? Or are there hidden motives to what I do, such as the desire to be admired or thought of as a good person. This is a real battle. A battle between self and God, between true love and phony love.
Here is a challenging excerpt from 1st Corinthians 13 in the Amplified Bible, the chapter describing love.
“Love does not insist on its own rights, or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it and pays no attention to a wrong suffered.” 1 Corinthians 13:5
To be honest, I have a long way to go to love like this.

Quotes of Wisdom…
“If it’s what you love, never give up, keep going.”

“Let go of what is gone, but keep the lesson.”
Finally, as Bonnie said during morning prayer: “God is Good!!!”
