The Beauty of the Lord
Those with a significant revelation of God, who have it impressed upon their hearts the beauty, grandeur, and majesty of God, will worship the Lord with all their hearts. Passion for God will well up inside them. However, for those who possess little revelation of the greatness of God, worship will likely be difficult. Our true need is to ask God continually for an ever increasing awareness of His awe and wonder. As God releases this, our worship will dramatically increase. Paul prayed for this revelation in Ephesians 1:15-23 and David called himself a man of “one thing,” desiring above everything else “to behold the beauty of the Lord” (Psalm 27:4).
Truly worshiping God brings about one of the greatest joys you will know.
